Celebrate the Jubilee with a Royal Borough Tea Party

Modelled on the garden parties hosted by the Royal Family each year and in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Duke of York Square will be hosting London’s biggest luxury tea party on Sunday 3 June.

The festivities will commence at 10am and go on until 5pm. With over 300 seats, you can pull up a chair on the day or book in advance to guarantee your spot at a Royal table where tea will be poured by your very own ‘Royal Footmen’.

High tea will be served to guests along with classically British biscuits, cakes and sandwiches whilst you enjoy the patriotic sounds of a live military band.

Champagne will also be on offer for those who wish to raise a toast during the live procession which will be screend on a huge LCD screen.

On arrival, don’t miss your chance to be papped with the ‘Queen’ herself and look out for the green screenwhere visitors, friends and family will have the opportunity to create a Royal Family Photo Album for free. In addition, there will also be a dress up booth for those of you feeling extra patriotic.

In keeping with the Royal activities, all guests are invited to dress for the occasion of receiving ‘tea with the Queen’ and there will be a grand prize for the guest deemed ‘best dressed’ on the day – not one to be missed.

Getting there could not be easier; if you’re travelling the nearest tube is Sloane Square, a short walk from the festivities.

So why not pop along to London’s biggest luxury tea party for a fabulously British celebration with friends or family. After all, where better to celebrate our Queens Diamond Jubilee, than the Royal Borough itself?
